There was definitely a time in the underground Hip Hop scene where people were intentionally making joints for the party, without sacrificing the art or pandering to the mainstream. There have been more than a few conversations lately online about how lots of current music is just not made for a night out or the jam. Glad to see one from Mello Music Group and Namir Blade.
